What began from the legacy of Fish Vargas and Oscar Bermeo in the Acentos Bronx Poetry Showcase of 2003-2008, led to the founding of The Acentos Review in 2008 by Dr. Raina J. León and Eliel Lucero. It’s been going strong ever since, having published over 900 Latinx voices in art, translation, poetry, nonfiction, fiction, cross-genre work, and more. You are a part of that, community member.
