Subir CC:[To Fall]; Lost in Translation
Entre el sonido de la mañana
CC: [Everyday giants watch others fall]
y el beso de tus brazos, pienso:
CC: [out of love, and fish watch giants]
que suerte, que nunca voy
CC: [fall from the sky, with no one]
hacer solitaria otra vez.
CC: [there to catch them but the]
Veo que las estrellas caigan
CC: [river, of all things. It must hurt. And yet]
y aterrizan en tus ojos cada mañana.
CC: [I find myself following the giants every time,]
Ahora tu y yo nunca vamos a caminar
CC: [eyes open, filled with morbid, budding, antici-]
sin luz, sin amor, sin nosotros.
CC: [pation of the crash, inevitable.]
Contrapuntal made of sangre; thicker than water
when, as a child, you fell in a river and encontrastes alguien, y en un punto tu
held your breath, gently, creastes en algo divino. pregunta:
what was better? ¿fue mentira? ¿fue real?
the anticipation, or the break los dos duelen igual, pero
through the surface, through barking water volverás a respirar
until you’re fully submerged— eventualmente, supongo.
when you’re able to think of an answer ¿que pasara primero? ¿iras? ¿o
will you find me again? dejaras de creer?
i guess it doesn’t matter si ya sabes la respuesta,
in the grand scheme of things no tienes que preguntar—
but I’d like it if you did. no tienes que ir.
